Care and Feeding 1.When assembling your clarinet, avoid touching
the keys as much as possible. 2.Always rinse your mouth out of food particles
before you play.Never chew gum or eat while playing. 3.Always swab the condensation out of your clarinet
before you put it away. 4.Always remove the reed from the mouthpiece
when you put it away, or mold will
grow in your mouthpiece. 5.Always cover the mouthpiece with the cap when
you put it away. 6.Never store your music in the case. 7.Never let anyone else hold or play your clarinet. 8.Never set your clarinet on a chair or music
stand where it can easily be
knocked off.Never balance it bell down. 9.Never allow the clarinet pads to get wet. 10.
Keep an eye on the clarinet screws but never try to adjust them yourself. 11.
If you think something is wrong with your clarinet, show it to Mr. Ericson.He can probably fix it.
